WCCS UPDATE [12/07/2026]
[EN] Watford Chinese Community School is now closed for the summer holiday. Thank you to all volunteers who have dedicated their time and effort to our school this year. We will see you again on 06 September 2026. Please note that we have now closed the renewal applications and will start offering places to the new families in the next two weeks.
The school office will close between 01 – 23 August 2026 and our mailbox will not be monitored during the period.
[IMPORTANT] All Cantonese classes are fully subscribed for 2026-2027. Please contact the School Office to put your child(ren) on the waiting list.
[GENTLE REMINDER] We ask all pupils to arrive on time at 10:30am and parents to pick them up at 12:45pm every Sunday during term time. We ask parents to be considerate, DO NOT bring your child(ren) to school if your child(ren) is ill, especially if they have a temperature, been vomiting or showing COVID-19 symptoms.

We offer Mandarin and Cantonese classes for children as young as four years old to GCSE, as well as adult mandarin classes.
Cantonese Classes 廣東話班 (繁體字)
Classroom lessons 10:30 – 12:45 every Sunday
Cantonese : Reception (from 4 years old), Year 1 to Year 9 and GCSE. All taught in traditional characters.
Mandarin Classes 普通话班 (简体字)
Classroom lessons 10:30 – 12:45 every Sunday
Mandarin : Reception (from 4 years old), Year 1 to Year 9, and GCSE. All taught in simplified characters.

Watford Chinese Community School provides the opportunity not only for the Chinese community but for anyone who’s interested in learning the Chinese language as well as the culture and traditions. We are fortunate to have a group of wonderful people who would give up their precious time to support the school in many different ways to ensure that the school would function smoothly and successfully!
